My daughter and I discovered a dead fly in her potato salad, so I informed our waitress and requested baked beans instead. To my surprise, she told me it would be an extra charge. I was taken aback and asked to speak with the manager, only to find out that she was the person in charge. She was incredibly rude! We hadn't touched any of the food and considered leaving it all behind, but she threatened to call the police and even mentioned it to other customers, which made me feel humiliated. I just wanted to escape, so I ended up paying for the food and left everything there. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone as I was by her. We definitely won’t be returning.

Everything was fresh, cr... read more The food was hot and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Cobb Salad, which was generously topped with bacon, avocado, cheese, and eggs. Everything was fresh, crisp, and flavorful. My husband had the chicken tenders accompanied by mashed potatoes and okra. I sampled the okra, and it was perfectly cooked—not at all greasy. My father-in-law enjoyed the raisin pie, while I had the apple crumble; you could really tell they were homemade, and the apples tasted fresh, not canned. We ended up bringing home a raisin pie and an egg custard pie as well. The waitstaff were all incredibly polite and friendly, and the service was excellent. The restaurant itself was very clean. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area!

The staff is always welcoming you can see they enjoy working with each other. When I want a good burger and good atmosphere I go there.
