This review is only for coffee and croissant. Both excellent. Maybe the best Croissant I had outside France. Well done. Superior flakes with an excellent dough to butter taste. I often come to my café au lait. (Plus! Owner/Manager will speak a little French when asked) View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Paris Bakery Cafe:
I don't believe this place is still running the business. You will not get a friendly service from this place. The owner of this place is always excuse and excuse. If you were a owner of a coffee shop, and you or your employee did mistake and make someone's feeling bad, the first thing you have to do is apology until the customers feeling ok. However this place the owner try to excuse. and teach the customer. This is... View all feedback.
I chose this restaurant based on the wonderful reviews I read, and they were absolutely spot-on. It's located on the street level of an office building, and they've really created a charming atmosphere reminiscent of a French café. The weather was perfect, so I opted for outdoor seating, and the bustling foot traffic nearby felt completely normal, as I’m used to living in a big city. The Monte Cristo was so delicious that I finished every last bite! The salad with tarragon dressing was refreshing and perfectly portioned. Despite being the only one dining outside, the service was exceptional. I only wish I lived closer because that Monte Cristo was a true delight for someone who loves brie and prosciutto!
Additionally, after reading other one-star reviews, it seems that this is a common issue at this restaurant. They frequently mess up orders and then shift the blame onto the customer. Very disappointing. Very disappointing.
I have so much to say! This is my first time writing a review anywhere because I usually can’t be bothered, but I just HAD to share my experience from this morning! Amy was incredibly welcoming, providing friendly service that was accommodating from start to finish. Our lattes were great, but the breakfast was nothing short of spectacular! The smoked salmon eggs benedict, the salmon crepe, and the dressing for the side salad were absolutely divine! The potatoes served with the benedict were a bit lacking in flavor, but everything else more than made up for it! There was a small mix-up on my part as I forgot to specify that I wanted the salmon benedict instead of the regular one since I thought I had implied my preference, especially because I can’t eat ham or bacon. However, Amy quickly resolved this without any complaints. I cannot recommend this place enough, and I’ll definitely be back soon for breakfast at this cozy spot!
Definitely recommended. The type of place that you don?t fine every day. Wonderful all the way around. Pretty much that simple. Dine in or pleasantly on the side walk.
Wasn't impressed with the quality of my meals. The potatoes were iced cold. I've never had a cafe serve a couisante toasted. It should be soft and I'm from Montreal. It was like biting into burnt toast. The bacon was not visible ????They ONLY have bottledwater so they can charge you a fortune when it's less than .25 ea for a case at Wallmart. Most disingenuous fact to me was theyhave NO STRAWS. I'm sorry, we live in a Pandemic world. I do NOT drink from a glass with NO straw. Are you kidding me? That wasthe clencher. Serenity ?
