The entire restaurant had a faint sewage smell combined with poor air conditioning, creating a warm and musty atmosphere inside. The bathroom drains were nearly clogged with grime from previous cleanings. Meanwhile, the staff seemed to be partying in the back instead of keeping the place tidy. I love Makeb's bagels, but I won’t be coming back to this location.

The woman at the counter was rather rude, and everyone in my group experienced issues with their orders. One dish never arrived, and we had to ask twice for the home fries, which only came after we had finished eating. It seemed like there were too many staff members working without clear roles, indicating potential management problems.

The staff isn't particularly friendly, but the egg sandwich I had was really tasty. It's worth a visit for sure, although the restaurant could enhance its friendliness to encourage customers to come back.
