Kapow Noodle - West Palm Beach

Recently, my friends and I dined at this restaurant for lunch based on my son's recommendation. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, though not outstanding. I ordered the Bao Bun with char siu pork, which had a small piece of pork belly but was a bit too sweet for my liking. I also tried the hot honey fried chicken sandwich, which was just average. My friends opted for the shrimp shumai, but they found it to be somewhat doughy and small. On a positive note, the duck fried rice was quite tasty, and the chilled cucumber salad received positive feedback as well. One of my friends chose the Wagyu steak dish, but when I asked the waiter about the cut, he only referred to it as the Wagyu cut. When the dish arrived, it looked like a sirloin steak, but my friend mentioned that it tasted good. Overall, while the meal was decent, it felt a bit overpriced for lunch. The atmosphere was somewhat dim but still had nice decor. Our server was very attentive and pleasant, which enhanced the overall experience.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. They've updated their menu, and it's still excellent. The edamame was remarkable—not your typical steamed version with salt; it featured a delightful dark soy glaze that truly enhanced the dish. The bao buns were delicious, and the duck was exceptional. Although it might be a little pricey, the portions were more than sufficient for the three of us, and everything was incredibly flavorful. I would definitely rate it 4+ stars. This place is a must-visit in West Palm Beach!

We visited this restaurant for the first time on July 14th and had an excellent experience. The service was exceptional—Kevin was particularly attentive and even made a special drink for my 8-year-old. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was delightful. We're definitely looking forward to returning!
