I visited Bimini Twist two days ago, marking my second visit in the past year, and it was fantastic! The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. The portions were so generous that we couldn’t finish everything. I brought my Pad Thai home and enjoyed it for lunch the next day. We also had seafood, including shrimp, sea bass, salmon, and mussels, all of which were really good. The Key Lime pie was delicious... View all feedback.
What 1Natasha H 9 months ago on Google doesn't like about Bimini Twist:
For our main courses, we had Chilean sea bass, filet mignon, and Alaskan king crab. The king crab was underwhelming; it seemed overcooked, which was particularly disappointing given the price. The Chilean sea bass, however, was excellent.
Our server was very friendly and asked us to cut into our filet to check the cooking level, which felt a bit unusual—maybe he's accustomed to the kitchen making mistakes. After sp... View all feedback.
We came here to celebrate my birthday and it was a disappointment. The venue is beautiful, many indoor and outdoor seats with a bar with a relaxed but elegant feeling. My sister was there before and she recommended it, so we came. We ordered the fried Calamari, it comes to diving with Marinara sauce. The Kalamari is okay. I like it better if restaurants are a corn battery. The Marinara sauce is Bland, no taste of any kind, nothing. I ordered the sweet chili sauce instead and tha was a great improvement. As main dishes we ordered the risotto with shrimps, fish and chips, and I ordered the Macadamia nuts encrusted Snapper with potatoes and sweet potatoes (I know, two starches? The risotto lacked taste and it was not hot, more like room temperature, but the shrimps were delicious and well cooked. The fish I ordered was terrible. You could just cost oil. They brought me rice inssyead of potatoes, but the rice was a cold. So I told the server about the mix. The potatoes were bland, no taste of any kind, boring. The sweet potato fries were the only good cravings about my order. But I asked the server to take my dishes away, I was done. The only good dish was the fish and the chips. The halibut was thick and moist, and good dough. The chips were good. Simce it was my birthday dinner we ordered the apple chef with vanilla ice cream. That was excellent. I could give them a second attempt that it was a night, we came on Wednesday. In view of the lack of quality in food, prices are not mirrored. I expected more. Most of the foods we had were just Bland and there was no type of flavor profile, just... Blah.
Nice restaurant, large comfortable tables, service was A-1, dishes we were selected were really tasteful, pasta was perfect? Al Dente? That was great. Below was that I think it's a little expensive to go frequently. In other things, the leather seat was cracked on our stand all the way. I mean, for what I will pay, I would expect everything to be in a proper condition, including the couch at the stand. I still want to come back, next time for a few drinks in her nice looking bar.
My husband and I come here almost every Friday night either by ourselves or with friends. We have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Cheryl the manager is amazing always greets us with a smile and is so friendly, honestly it?s one of our reasons for always coming back we feel like family here. We have tried almost everything on the menu and it has all been delicious. One of our friends is also in the restaurant business so his standards are as high as ours and he has nothing but amazing things to say about the food and the servers. Even though I love everything they offer my absolute favorite is the linguine and clams?mmmm so so good! The drinks are generous bartenders are awesome! Cheryl runs this place like a well oiled machine and it shows, I don?t know what they would do without her. Can?t wait until next Friday!
3 stars because the service is always good, but the food? it?s really gone downhill since we started going back out around late summer. Been going to Bimini Twist since I moved here in July 2018, and it?s just not the same now. Last time we went earlier this year I got the crab legs, the meat was dried out by the time I got them and they are not cheap. This time I got the scallops on lobster risotto with a side of green beans, the green beans were good after salting, the 4 scallops were over cooked as was the tablespoon of lobster meat that was on the risotto. The risotto was flavorless. Actually pretty much everything had no flavor. My husband got the Delmonico and it was more fat than meat. This is the first time in 3.5 years of being together we have not either eaten all of our food while at the restaurant or taken leftovers home. He NEVER leaves meat on his plate, ever, he left about 1/4 of his steak, unheard of. The only saving graces were our waitress Tiffany was very sweet, attentive and personable and the southwest chicken eggroll appetizer we got was really really good, they must be new and those I strongly recommend getting, very fresh with good flavor and seemed homemade. Bimini Twist was our go to restaurant for special occasions or date night (like tonight), after a bill of over $187 before tip for 1 appetizer, 2 dinners and 4 adult drinks, date nights are gonna have to move elsewhere.
I visited Bimini Twist two days ago. It was my second visit last year and it was amazing. The service was great and delicious. We couldn't finish portions that big. I took my pad Thai home and had it for lunch the next day. We also had seafood (shrimps, seabass, salmon, mussels) everything was really good. Key Lime pie was also great! Spinach!
