A pub where you feel very uncomfortable, with a bar man who stairs at you all evening, the drink isn't all that good either, if you want a drink in Carterton i would go else where to a local village View all feedback.
Excellent food, as always, good menu at reasonable prices. Served quickly well presented. Staff always welcoming friendly.

Very rude general manager. Went in with friends and he asked us what drinks we wanted then told us to get out. We hadn't done anything nor said anything. Very rude waving his arms about being aggressive in front of customers. I don't recommend going in here. Very over priced. Not even worth a star. Fount it very discriminating.
Walked in around 6.10pm for some food with my 9 year old son to be told no kids after 6pm, accepted it as I understand that arguing won't change his mind. The pub was basically empty and we were after food not a sesh, licensing allow until 9pm so he's just shooting himself in the foot.
