I 'found ' this cafe/shop by Googling 'dog friendly cafe near Chipping Norton ' wow what a fab find. They were very dog friendly but also people friendly as well. I was intending to only have a coffee (before collecting my parents from nearby Heythrop Hall) but the bacon baguette looked so appealing I just had to indulge! My little dog sat quietly under the table, ignoring the other 3 or 4 dogs under other tables. Un... View all feedback.
What coppola 11 doesn't like about Cafe De La Post:
I dropped into Cafe de la Poste at 15:01 this afternoon on my bicycle ride. I went in and said to the lady behind the counter: I appreciate that I am too late for the lunch menu The staff member immediately responded with: Yes you are! I was about to try to say: might it be possible to have something.... when she said: I 've got a lot of drinks to serve and so I 'm not doing anything else This was said in a loud, for... The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly, the wifi is free, and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious hot chocolate and dessert. Definitely worth a visit!
The Cafe de la Post is a true hidden gem in Chadlington. Run by the lovely ladies Tracy, Carolyn, and La, it has become our go-to spot for delicious homemade food and great coffee. Tracy is the heart and soul of the cafe, providing excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. During lockdown, we discovered this cozy cafe and it quickly became our weekend ritual. The cafe offers a variety of services to the community, from newspaper subscriptions to postal deliveries, making it an essential part of Chadlington. The food is always fresh and homemade, with a great selection of cakes, wines, and groceries available at reasonable prices. We absolutely love this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home.
There is no better place than the Cafe de la Post! This quintessential little cafe is made very special by the even more special ladies who run it. Tracy, Carolyn and La are the soul of this place and Tracy is the pillar holding it all together. Living in Charlbury, we discovered the Cafe during lockdown. It was where we got our takeaways coffees and sat across the road on the little hill soaking up the view. Since then, it is a must go at the weekend and we SO miss it if we can’t go. Oh yes, and the food… honest homemade food, priced at a decent price to serve the local community. It’s a gem!!
Very freindly service, popped. In for a breakfast baguette, lovely and fresh.
This wonderful local village shop offers everything you could need in a village setting. I enjoyed a delicious coffee and a tasty chocolate slice. The staff were friendly and provided a warm welcome. Definitely worth a visit if you happen to be passing by.
