I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this restaurant and would give it 6 stars if I could. I came alone on my motorbike after seeing it on Shed and Buried or a similar show. I was amazed by the incredibly delicious three cheese toastie on fresh sourdough with crispy shoestring potatoes and crunchy, fresh coleslaw. It was evident that the chef put a lot of care into preparing the meal. I definitely plan on returning to try the delicious-looking cakes. This restaurant is a great spot and is biker friendly.
Steer clear of the brownies, but everything else is great.
After going for a walk, we decided to stop in for a meal and were pleasantly surprised. The salads served in their wholesome bowls were just as tasty as Ottolenghi's. The coffee was top-notch, the cinnamon bun was mouth-watering, and the staff was fantastic. This place is a gem!
Brilliant breakfast in a lively friendly atmosphere. Everything was made from scratch that can be , beautifully presented. Left with a smile and a slice of incredibly tasty Lardy cake.
Blake’s Kitchen is always packed full of people either sitting or queuing to get a table. The food, cakes, bread are fantastic every time. I had avocado on sour dough toast with two poached eggs and bacon. The eggs were perfectly cooked and runny. My wife had the same without the avocado and was amazing also. Coffees are lively are a hot. The cinnamon buns are to die for. All in all a fantastic visit. All staff are lovely and welcoming.
