Cambria West Orange

Luke warm water in sink shower was warm not hot. Asked for fresh towels since we did not have the room made up on our second day. 1.5 hours and 2 calls later they brought us 2 towels. Next time i will request the room to be made up every day, if their is a next time. But i doubt it!Rooms: Nice room. Very noisy.

Stayed for four nights, the first night we had a questionable sheet and the manager came right the way to change and left us breakfast vouchers. We used it the morning before leaving, had a great service from Chima, very professional. Overall, 4 stars for rooms, 5+ stars for service and 5 stars for location with parking.

A very nice hotel, though for that price you'd jolly well hope so. Upstairs neighbours were practicing their marches but this isn't the fault of the hotel.Room was massive, clean and well thought out. Shame that breakfast wasn't included in the price, coffee and a crossaint or something perfunctory?Located on a retail park so not a deal breaker though.

I traveled to Newark, New Jersey and stayed at the Cambria Hotel in West Orange. Once in I got there, the hotel staff was a class act, the rooms were surprisingly bigger than I would have expected. The food made was exceptional and the bar was soooooo damn fun I was there for a family reunion and you know we had it rockin' downstairs They have a bartender named Amandi and when I tell you she took care of my whole family, she surely did that I must give much praise to this young lady because she looked out for us like she was apart of our family She's an extremely hard worker and in school as well If you're ever in this area, this may be a cool place to stay....I will definitely be back????? #love

IF YOU WANT TO AVOID A BOOKING NIGHTMARE, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTELI booked a stay at the Cambria in West Orange under a room block on June 21, my first time staying at a Choice Hotel. Months later (Sept. 3) the hotel quietly emailed me about my upcoming stay and the total price listed was double what the initial confirmation total had stated. I called the hotel about the discrepancy, and they refused to honor the original price I booked/ that had been sent in the initial confirmation email.I am part of a wedding block and do not know how many people may be affected by the error that the Cambria made on their own end. I am posting this review in part to warn other customers about their horrible service and attempt to scam customers into paying more for the hotel’s own mistake.I travel frequently as a reporter, and have mentioned Choice Hotels to my superiors for future bookings. However, if the hotel charges me double for a mistake they made, I will never stay at a Choice Hotel again.
