Here came with a mother and her boyfriend on a Saturday night, no waiting for a table, but service was a little slow. We are all Colombian, so the food was familiar and authentic. My mother is actually from the city that the restaurant is named before. We liked our meals, but not quite sure we came back here. It was a bit overwhelming and not unforgettable. I really like the food here don’t get my wrong it’s very tasty and the ladies in the morning are always helpful in assisting me. But I have to write this review because I was mischarged $28 yesterday. My order was a paisita and a small soup. Together it should’ve been about $20. Envigado FIVE STAR FOOD AND SERVICE always delivers! I have lived in the Union City/Weehawken/ NYC for thirty years, was a loyal customer, and this restaurant has never even disappointed me. I once had pneumonia and Oricales, the best employee in the world, sent me a big chicken soup on the house!! The Café con leche never disappoints – it is always hot, strong and a full cup. The food always arrives on time and is fresh and tasty. My favorites are the Churrasco, the roasted fish, and the eggs/ham/cheese sandwiches. Your freshly pressed ABI is for DIE FOR!! If you never tried the pig bell, you must. The cracks are extra crispy. It is not for Dieter, but it is authentic and delicious. I also recommend the bungalow. They come in two sizes and are crispy on the outside and sifted and warm on the inside. With a Cafe con leche- OMG!! Besides, everything is bread and baked goods in Envigado in the house!! So if you order a delicious Cuban sandwich, the bread FRESH- will be made by them this day. I cannot recommend this authentic restaurant enough! There are many places that are now trying to duplicate an authentic Cuban / Colombian / Latin American fusion cuisine, but only Envigado was successful in the way they care about their food, and especially their customers. Your staff is always friendly and nice. If I could give them ten stars, I would. I can't recommend it enough. Try it today!!
Very delicious, and very nice people. Prices are good too. This is the full bandeja paisa.. yummmm.
Best Colombian spot I been too , the marinated skirt steak is the best! I just wish it was a little bigger.
Authentic dishes... Abundant servings... Family ambiance. Food tastes deliciously homemade.
