Mcdonald's - West Monroe

During my first visit to the restaurant, I was truly impressed by the overall experience, the quality of the food, and the service. I especially appreciated the young man who was tidying up the dining area; he was very friendly and kept himself busy while I was there at 12:15 PM on July 5, 2017.

Lakita, the night manager, is exceptional. I always feel at home when she’s working, whether it's day or night. When she's around, the whole atmosphere improves, and everything runs smoothly. Unfortunately, the other managers don’t treat customers or employees as well. Lakita truly cares about both her customers and her staff.

We went inside and moved to place our order, but then she asked if she could play. The woman at the counter informed me that the playground was closed for minor repairs. Jayci immediately started crying and fell to the floor. The manager noticed and came over to see what was wrong. After hearing from the cashier that she was upset about the playground, he asked how long we planned to stay. I said we would be there long enough to eat. He then asked Jayci if she would feel better if he opened the playground just for her, and of course, she said yes. He explained that the only reason it was closed was due to the sprinkler system, and then he personally took her to the play area and let her in. While I started ordering our food, Jayci insisted on having a Happy Meal with chicken nuggets. I was trying to decide what else to get her, knowing that breakfast would end at 10:30. I communicated her wishes to the cashier, and the manager returned. After hearing what we wanted, he asked how many chicken nuggets Jayci would like and told me I could go join her in the play area while he brought us our food. I was incredibly grateful for the special treatment Jayci received after such a tough morning. Then, even more surprising, after we received our food, Jayci took her toy out of the Happy Meal and asked to show it to the manager. We approached him, and she pointed to a display case containing a certain toy she had her eyes on. I was busy putting ketchup in small cups for her, and when I turned around, I saw him opening the display case to get her the toy she wanted. She was thrilled and had the biggest smile on her face the entire time we were there. I thanked the manager several times, but I still feel like I can't express enough gratitude. People like him deserve to be recognized for their amazing kindness. He not only put a huge smile on my daughter's face but also demonstrated a truly generous heart. I highly recommend McDonald's on Thomas Rd in West Monroe. They have some of the best employees, especially the manager who made my daughter's day truly special and unforgettable!

9-7-19 Monday 16:30. First time at this point. The restaurant looked different than I was. More modern. The lady I met was polite and helpful in selecting my order. The location could have been cleaner. It wasn't terrible, just some food under tables and chairs from creepy people. Easy. The consistency of the foods was similar to any other place where I was. “In time” I came to this place, it was not bad overall and I would return to this place. I have read other articles and have not experienced some of their problems they have experienced in the past today. If something changes in future visits, I will be repost.

I got chicken nuggets and fries, it was good and hot, the fries were a little salty but good.
