If I were a local, I'd eat here. Price is reasonable, for 10 dollars a good meal. I forgot to take a picture of my plate, so I have to go back. Next time early enough for breakfast. View all feedback.
On my way to Dallas for breakfast, I discovered this gem via Google, and it turned out to be one of the best recommendations I've ever received. The restaurant, though small and cozy, offered bold and flavorful dishes. I ordered the shrimp and alligator omelet, and it was absolutely delicious. The grits were creamy and delightful, and the overall cleanliness of the place was impressive. My sister opted for the British omelet, which was out of this world, and the potatoes were perfection. You definitely won't regret visiting this spot!
This traditional diner boasts a great atmosphere and serves a hearty breakfast. You'll find friendly service in a place where many patrons know each other. At one table, a group of ladies might be studying the Bible, while at another, a young father shares a meal with his toddler. In one corner, some older gentlemen in jumpsuits and cowboy hats kick off their day, exchanging stories from the past. A humble traveler might be seated alone, savoring their first meal after checking the reviews and deciding to give it a try. The offerings are as southern and quintessentially American as they come, featuring delicious communal coffee and a fantastic omelet. Be sure to add this spot to your list! And don’t forget, they also sell cake.
My friend brought me here while we visited, and it was SO GOOD! I can't expect to come back and try some of the other dishes. I had the fried catfish that came with two sides, a selection of bread and a dessert. It was SO GOOD! And I'm not a light eater, but I ate half of it and was full. I ate the rest of the fried green beans while I waited for my plane an hour later, and they were still delicious! My mouth only irrigates all southern treats on the menu!
If I lived here, I would definitely eat at this place. The prices are quite reasonable—just $10 for a great meal. I forgot to take a picture of my dish, which means I’ll need to return. Next time, I’ll make sure to go early enough for breakfast!
It was packed when we get there around 9am for breakfast, so we waited a bit longer for our food to be served. Staff were nice and very accommodating. Me and my friend enjoyed our meal. Food’s great! Tried out their lunch, it was pretty good as well.
