Guests rave about the standout brunch options and delightful appetizers, though a few items, like the Caesar salad, leave room for improvement. While many praise the attentive staff, some note inconsistency in service, with occasional lapses in attentiveness. The venue features live jazz on Thursdays and Saturdays, enhancing the dining experience. However, restroom conditions could use a thorough upgrade. Overall, patrons appreciate the food and unique setting, making it a charming destination for locals and visitors alike.
We really wanted to enjoy this place. Cocktails and appetizers were good. I ordered steak au poive medium, it arrived very rare. I couldn't catch the waiter but finally got someone else to take it back. It arrived even more raw and now I couldn't catch the waiter or the other guy. After literally waving my arms for help the waiter dropped a menu in front of me.... I said I prefer what I ordered cooked medium ... it arrived well done with bland sauce. ZERO empathy from staff for my horrible experience.
This restaurant is not just a place to eat brunch, but also a unique museum experience. With a working waterwheel, the ambiance is truly stunning. The restaurant is quite large and our party of 7 was seated quickly. The food was tasty, with highlights including a green matcha tea and potato pancakes with lox. The service was excellent, with the staff going above and beyond to make our celebration special. Overall, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit for a delicious meal and a glimpse of local history.
I went here for takeout bakery items only. Wow was I pleasantly surprised. Upon walking in, I was not sure if I was the correct place. After taking a peek a little Further in, I saw all the bakery items. They had a large selection that should accommodate many different tastes. Everything looked great. Cannolis are filled to order. I brought the pastry to a party and all the guests loved them I will be coming back to try the food.
This place is definitely worth a stop! Everyone working there was pleasant, they had good coffee and pie, and you get to do a little tour of the old mill which within the building. Felt like a unique place enjoyed by visitors and locals alike.
The food and service at this restaurant are outstanding, but the bathrooms definitely need improvement. I wouldn't want to see the men's stall under a black light after hearing my husband's description, and the women's room stalls don't have locks.
