The staff was very friendly, and we ordered a family platter along with a few other items that were delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes before sharing my full review. I appreciate that the restaurant is unique and not like the others in the area. I really don't understand the high rating here. the maiskuchen was bad again, the ribs had a rough taste (although well cooked), the brisket was hard, the koleslaw was bad, the plucked wobble was bad. I paid $38 for one of the worst tasting meals I had. the barbeque sauce, which I asked to thank on the side, was decent, covered the numerous sins regarding the meat. First, the staff was really nice, we ordered a family platter and a few other items, the food was good. I want to go back and work my way through the menu before I give a few comment. I love that it is local and not the same stuff that is around. Just remember it is an active airport so sitting outside can be a challenge for a few minutes, exhaust fumes.
Best hidden gem in the area!! The BBQ is definitely under rated and the apps are spectacular. Corn, tater tots, chili and their clucker Buffalo chicken salad is amazing!!
OMG, we have traveled extensively and this is some of the best barbaqu we've ever had!! TJ's recipes and delivery of flavors is amazing. We ordered a combination of items and everything was top notch and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is great and as a pilot I was enchanted with the location at Greenwood Lake Airport. Stop in, you won't be disappointed. PS: left with enough leftovers for several meals for me and the wife!
This airport restaurant offers delicious BBQ in a unique atmosphere. The service is top-notch, with a dine-in option for lunch. Prices range from $10 to $20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. There is ample parking available, including a free parking lot.
My friends and I tried takeout from this restaurant for the first time tonight and we are kicking ourselves for not doing it sooner. The food was fantastic, with generous portions and top-quality ingredients. The chili cheese fries were particularly delicious. The ribs were tender, meaty, and simply fell off the bone. The mac and cheese was incredibly creamy. We ordered 6 meals and 4 sides, and everything was ready in less than 30 minutes. When we arrived to pick up our order, everything was prepared and the staff were all very polite. We're looking forward to dining in at this restaurant in the future. Overall, an amazing experience!
