For many years, the restaurant served its purpose by expanding people's culinary horizons beyond that they were used to eating at home. However, by the time that this restaurant was abruptly closed by the Minnesota company that bought it, they did the place a mercy. The food was increasingly poorly prepared, and just not that tasty. A few years ago, one of my colleagues attributed an episode of food poisoning to this eatery. If you still want a taste of Pancho's, their cheese dip continues to live on within grocery stores all over. (The folks that bought Pancho's did so just for the cheese dip. Hopefully, the factory that makes it doesn't have any of the same sanitation issues like the restaurant apparently had. R.i.P.
Should have known when I walked in the door and it smelled like stale mop water and urine that it wasn't going to be good. First thing, they served me cold cheese dip. Then, the service was abysmal. The waitress seemed like she really didn't care at all. Then comes the food... I don't know if I have words to describe how horrible it was. Beef enchiladas that my wife TRIED to eat were so bad she sent them back after one bite. My chicken enchiladas were ok at the ends but that changed as soon as I tasted the chicken. I buy the Pancho's cheese dip at the grocery store all the time but I will never go back to their restaurant. It's horrific. Don't waste your time or money on this garbage. Taco Bell is more appealing. So, cheese dip should be warm which makes room temperature STILL COLD!!!!! Like I said I'll keep buying the cheese dip at the grocery store but I'm not returning to the restaurant.
Taco salad was great. Plenty enough for two. Prices were very reasonable.
Mom wanted tacos so I got her the best damn tacos in the whole wide world! The cheese dip and salsa are a must have!
Love panchos. Didn’t know they were still around but glad I found one. Good food good service.
