Applebee's Grill - West Memphis

I recommend visiting during happy hour (3-6 PM), as they offer a variety of appetizers at half price, all served hot and fresh. Margaritas are also available for just $4, and pints are offered at a reduced price. I've noticed that the service has improved and is generally faster, although shift changes can occasionally slow things down. The menu now includes some excellent low-calorie options, which is a nice addition. It's great that happy hour is available every day of the week, along with late-night deals as well!

I visited on a Saturday night around 7:00 pm. The appetizers were cold; I believe I ordered a Tuscan cheese dip or something similar. My child's chicken strips were dry, and it took 15 minutes to receive drink refills. To top it off, they forgot the feta cheese on my salad. I also ordered a sizzling dessert, but it didn't sizzle at all. The waitress mentioned I probably wouldn't want it since the skillet would be really hot. Go figure.

They handed mean bag with our food and the receipt on it. I confirmed the meals and they agreed. Then we got home and realized we were a bag short. When we drove back to get it, they didn't apologize or even acknowledge the mistake. They just handed us the other bag like nothing happened. Meanwhile half my family was starving to death. It's was a horrible experience. Food was passable but tasted kind gross since half of it was cold by an hour.

While passing through West Memphis, I decided to stop at Applebee's and was pleasantly surprised by the clean and inviting atmosphere. The music created a wonderful vibe, blending R&B with a touch of blues. I especially enjoyed tracks from King George, Calvin Richardson, and my favorite, Selena Johnson. Despite being short-staffed, our food was served hot, and the waitress was extremely kind. Taking everything into account, the food, prices, and service were all excellent.
