Pizzavola - West Melbourne

We had a wonderful experience at PizzaVola!! We are from VA but will be back to Pizza Vola when back in Melbourne. Thank you to Tony for your comfortable atmosphere and amazing staff!! Everyone was so kind and good was DELICIOUS

Wanted to order a pizza with the works. I asked them if they could replace the mushrooms with black olives. They said they could, but, would charge me extra. I never heard of a pizza place charging to replace one veggie with another. So, I didn't order and took my service to a different pizza joint. They lost a customer, not that it probably mattered to them.

The white pizza was delicious, and the Buffalo chicken pizza was a little strong with blue cheese dressing. The garlic knots weren't the worst, but also can't say I would recommend them.The main complaint is that the temperature in the building was at least 85° at 5 pm on a Friday. The temperature was almost to the point of leaving. I'm not sure if the owner is trying to save on bills or if something was broken during our visit, but it made it hard to enjoy the food. We did mention it to the very friendly waitress as we could sympathize with her running around like crazy in the unbearable heat.

Unable to give no stars. Waited 90 minutes for delivery. When the pizza finally came I looked at it and gave it right back to the driver. It was overcooked and covered in huge air bubbles. They said they’d have another brought out in 30 minutes. Almost 60 minutes later and still no pizza. Called again; they’re short on drivers. I requested a refund. No manager to apologize. My first and last time ordering there.

When we ordered online off of grub hub, Pizza Vola didn’t give us the garlic knots and the 3 side salads that come with the 3 dinners. We called back to get our side salads and garlic knots, but their answer was “Unfortunately, on grub hub they don’t ask you if you want your side salad that comes with your dinner, so we can’t give to you now.” And I think that is very unfortunate because they should have honored it, given them to us, and let us know for the next time. That’s not good service. Additionally, all the portions we got this time were super small, it’s like we got 4 kids meals for $91.00. I don’t know if was a bad night, but we won’t be ordering from there again.
