It was cold and windy on the day I visited and needed to sit outside on account of having my dogs with me. Consequently, my first visit was a short one. I had one a beer, a traditional stout which I very much enjoyed. UPDATE: I came for trivia night. It was good. I tried a couple of other beers but, the traditional stout was still my favorite. Beer I had was decent which is why I’m not giving them 1 star. Place has major “locals only” vibes. If you aren’t a regular, from the moment you walk in the door the bartender just awkwardly stares at you without saying a word. They’re about as welcoming and friendly there, as a rattlesnake. Isn’t my money just as good as a locals money lol? Don’t worry, I won’t make the mistake of spending my money there again.
Awesome brewery, distillery (rum) and cidery! There’s a food truck out back! We loved the strawberry citrus cider, we’re sour lovers!! Pretty cool place!!
Great place! Friendly people! Check the Facebook page to see what food truck is there.
We have always loved the vibe of Mica Town and the drinks, however, we visited tonight with our 5 lb yorkie after a day of errand running. There was no sign that said no animals on the entrance and the website says dogs are welcome in the patio areas. We go in, sit down with the bar tender welcoming us. She then says you can’t have dogs in here. As we walk out, the other patron says, can that little thing even count as a dog. She then reply’s, smart buttedly, well I don’t care if it’s a rabbit it’s not coming in here. Now, I completely understand if a company doesn’t or can’t allow animals in a certain area but this young blonde bar tender could have respectfully told us that in warm weather dogs are allowed outside but unfortunately we can’t have them at the bar. Her demeanor has completely ruined our view if this establishment.
