My sister and i went there for lunch for her birthday it must have new owners as it was very poor half the items on the menu were not available i had a pie which had been in the oven for far too long it came with salad which was out of a bag not very fresh and no dressing the staff were not as friendly as the people that used to be in there do not think i will be going back i feel that they are just going through the... Excellent coffee. Exceptional Friendly service with a great range of takeaway treats when you are in a hurry.
Meet for lunch in a lunch hour, service is good, coffee good, food good and good value for money. Recommended for catch ups and work lunches.
It's so nice to find a cafe that serves straightforward, honest food. They offer everything from toasted sandwiches to quiche and salad, and their coffee is fantastic. The location is convenient for me, being close to where I live and to the shops in Prospect. The staff were friendly and enjoyable to talk to.
I was really disappointed this time around, I ordered the Canadian Breakfast on the menu it stated served with Delicious Pancakes, fresh cream, ice cream, maple syrup and bacon! When it came to the table it was served with Waffles 1 piece of bacon and about a teaspoon of Maple syrup in a jug, and the waffles were stone cold and tough. When I took it back to the counter to let the staff know of the mistake and the coldness, I was told by a staff member that it is a pancake mix just made in a waffle machine because it 's easier! And I 'm guessing it was the manager who was standing there as well (didn 't give good customer service when I went to order) all she did was roll her eyes at me! So I get my meal fix (well that 's what I was expecting) the waffles were microwaved with the bacon on top so now my bacon is like a rock not remade and served to what the menu stated! My partner also had breakfast (ordered the same as he did about 1 month ago, he even has a photo of the breakfast from a month ago) it was half the size this time! Still the same price! Only thing nice there this morning it was nice and warm! Sorry but it was really disappointing...
This restaurant was conveniently located near my old office and we would often go there for lunch or occasionally for coffee. The food was consistently good and reasonably priced, and the service was always excellent.
