A very disappointing visit. Having booked in advance we arrived at the Punchbowl in good and were shown to our table straightaway. Our waitress came over, not to take our order but to advise us what was not available on the menu! No chicken (other than chicken pie), no lamb, no fish. Went for a Birthday celebration, very attentive staff, aimed to please and lovely food, will definitely be visiting again.

I haven't visited the Punch Bowl in a few years, but I was pleasantly surprised by the new appearance. The atmosphere was great, perfect for a gathering with friends. The staff were friendly and attentive, all dressed neatly in their uniforms. However, the highlight of the evening was the food. Fresh ingredients cooked perfectly. Thank you, we will definitely return.
