What Ken Adams doesn't like about Dakshin:
The dal and the paneer dishes we ordered were raw. Completely raw. There was music playing in the restaurant but it's a self-serve and the food is not worth it. The Naan we ordered was cold and felt reheated. Do not recommend if you want good Indian food.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options, but the restaurant has a big sign saying food allergy notice. The sign says all food could be contaminated by fish,... View all feedback.

The best Indian restaurant I’ve had probably throughout Indiana. It killed the competition easily with the butter chicken and chicken tiki masala.
This is a decent place to get Indian food in west Lafayette. Many many items are very good. They also have contactless ordering post COVID and the delivery is extremely fast. However the restaurant is mostly empty so there is no atmosphere per se which is a drawback.Vegetarian options: They have many options for vegetarian people.
My favorite place I’ve gotten Indian food from! Fast and friendly service, and the food is so flavorful and fresh.Food: 5/5
