Great place to go for lunch! I had the Krab and Avocado Salad, which I liked, but didn't love. I want to try the Strawberry Salad next time! My friend ordered the Ginger Chicken Salad and really enjoyed it. Love their birthday reward get a free entree with the purchase of an entree (and yes salads count as an entree)! Last year I got the Lemon Chicken and it was really good! The roll that came with the salad was real... View all feedback.
This is a great place to take people who are visiting from out of town or to go out to lunch with some friends. The shops are fun too. They are locally owned boutiques that carry specialty items you can't find anywhere else.
We ordered chicken Cordon Bleu and the chicken was tough. Also, the gravy was lumpy and the dip for the fried green tomatoes and the artichoke dip were all bland tasting. The bread for the spin was burnt. The mashed potatoes were light gray tinged?! The butter for the rolls had no salt. We ended up spending about $50 for two people not including the tip. We don't think will come back there. The butter for the spin dip had no salt just onions in it which made it also very bland. The waitress forgot our water and did not give us straws and you were out of rolls until the end of our meal. The rolls and the specialty drinks and the salad and the dessert were good. Not at all like it was before the pandemic! We had to wait 20 minutes on a Thursday to get seated and there are a lot of empty tables and a lot of servers! Thumbs down. Also the air that blows out of the vent smelt like mildew. The floors were filthy and sticky and on the lower level where we sat by the window was hot.
I already wrote about this place in my Gardner Village review, so check that out. But basically, we had a wonderful experience. The food was great, the wait staff was exceptional and our meal didn't cost a lot. We had the Half Half Appetizer (half breaded avocado half fried green tomatoes We were served hot rolls with sundried tomato and bacon dressing (so good Our entree were: Chicken Enciladas with rice and beans, Lemon Chicken with rice pilaf, roasted artichoke hearts and carrots. The price was good, the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We brought home half of our meals, so the portion size is generous without being huge. Really don't need the appetizer, but it was so good, we'll probably not skip it next time we come here.

It’s been years since I’ve been here so decided to try it again. Menu selection was small. Ordered teriyaki stir fry with chicken and the lemon chicken dinner. Stir fry was exactly what you would expect, no frills nothing that stood out but nothing that disappointed. Lemon chicken lacked lemon flavor but the chicken was tender and didn’t taste bad just not enough zing. Italian soda was delicious. Dessert was carrot cake and bread pudding. For me the draw of carrot cake is the way the cake and cream cheese frosting compliment each other. The cake was soo thick and didn’t have nearly enough frosting, I only ended up eating about half way into it so I could taste the frosting. Bread pudding was good with a raspberry sauce. All in all it was mediocre, not bad but not superior. However it was convenient to the shopping of Gardener Village.
