What User doesn't like about Tuk Tuk Thai:
We have had dinner here a few times and on this occasion, it was awful. We ordered a few dishes and one of them was the seafood lasagna. The seafood was off. It had a bad smell to it . The waitress asked if everything was ok as we didn’t really touch the Laksa. She looked at it and smelted it and apologised . She asked if we would like something else, we no thanks. Once upon a time, this was THE place to go for good thai in Balmain.
Loving where we do we dont have a lot of asian restaurants but we are lucky enough to have tuk tuk its very fresh food cooked well i enjoy it very much

Great restaurant with great thai food and good quick service. Lots of variety on the menu to choose from, soups, curries, stir fry, noodles, rice and more.
Eleven of us for a birthday dinner on a Friday night. The food was good ... not quite authentic as it was dumbed down a bit for local tastes (but you could spice it up with one of the sauces they provided).The service was great and nothing was a problem … a big bucket of ice to make/mix our own BYO drinks, plates and forks to serve our own birthday cake, etc - all with a big smile.Great value for money, with probably the biggest servings of each dish that I’ve ever seen.I suggest booking if there are a few of you as it’s a small restaurant in a local shopping strip.
