What Arvel Casper doesn't like about Charcoal Chicken:
Very nasty food customer service? Chicken was too much Sazón, more than 45 minutes arrived for food and added 18% tips that we ridiculous customer service and the price like a franchise restaurant, too high View all feedback.
You have the best rotisserie chicken! The fried yucca served with the sauce is incredible, and the beans are delicious too. I love their food and have been coming to this place for many years. It’s truly my favorite!
This is my to-go to restaurant. Their chicharon is always tasty. The owner is friendly, the servers are great and inviting. The price is definitely affordable.
I would have given it zero stars if it let me. We sat there for almost two hours before our food came out. Then on top of that the food came out wrong. The whole time we sat there waiting not once were we asked if we needed another drink. Horrible!!! And way overpriced!!!
I am very disappointed with the food from this establishment. I picked up to go order on 1/28/22. I was so excited because I was really craving chicken and rice and beans. I spent $70 and almost everything was disgusting !!! First let?s start with the chicken: dry and tasted like it been sitting there all day. The rice was def days old and beans were super salty. I was so disappointed because I already felt like I overpaid for all my food. The tostones were soggy even when I asked for extra crispy. The only reason they get one star because the beef empanada was the only fresh and good thing I ate. I wasted $70!! Overpriced and food was not fresh at all !! WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN !
I hadn’t eaten here in years, not since I moved from Connecticut over 13 years ago. I decided to stop by, drawn by the memory of their delicious Arroz con Pollo, and it did not disappoint—it’s still fantastic! The prices are reasonable, with dinner for two costing around $20 each. My overall experience was great, and the staff were both friendly and polite. I initially gave it four stars because it felt a bit pricey for chicken, rice, beans, and plantains. However, the flavors and level of preparation deserve five stars. You know what? I’m changing my rating to five stars. This small restaurant has been around for more than 20 years and truly deserves this recognition for its quality!
