Good vibes, server and managers were very nice. Food wasn’t great. Baked Brie was delicious but fried chicken sandwich and fried chicken and pancakes were dry and over cooked. Oil needs to be changed in their fryer. Steak was strange. Drinks are over priced mimosas in a tiny coup glass legit sips View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Union Kitchen:
Dishes were very very salty and noodles were over cooked, the manager came to the table to apologize and offered the desert on them. We decided to order just one desert, brownie w/ice cream. They even failed this simple desert. Brownie was over heated that you could not folk thru. Terrible new year eve dinner. We took out some desert from cheese cake factory on the way home. Another fantastic meal at Union Kitchen!! The tomato carpaccio with babaganoush and fresh strawberries was unique and sooo tasty. We also had the delicious fresh ricotta! I tried the free range roast chicken and it was one of the juiciest and tastiest chickens I have ever had. Attentive service, great food, and comfortable ambiance...what more could I ask for. Hat's off to the chef's and all the staff!!!
Union kitchen is in the top 10 places in the area that has a MUST TRY menu. There is nothing they have that is not good. Everything is phenomenal and the environment is casual and relaxing with outdoor seating. The pork belly will transport you to another world.Food: 5/5
Very friendly staff. Never felt rusher. Appetizers arrived quickly and were excellent. The pork belly wasn't fatty as expected. very well presented and delicious.
We had a great time at Union Kitchen and enjoyed every dish as well as drink we ordered. Will be coming back soon!
I love this place. It’s my favorite in West Hartford. I come on my own or bring friends and family visiting. I often eat dinner at the bar. The wine paired tasting menu is always great and changes seasonally. The wine and cocktails are fantastic and the staff is always wonderful. You are missing out if you haven’t popped in for a meal at Union Kitchen.
