Mcladden's - West Hartford

For the first time here and was impressed. In a trendy part of the city with many jewelry stores round, so not the best for date night! Every place with a jug in the men's room is good in my book! Good selection of craft brews, not only IPAs. Food was on site. Would go back to a heartbeat. Parking could be a challenge during busy times, so plan ahead.

Large pub with more than 50 beers on the menu, great food (exceptional chili) and friendly staff. Thank you to our waitress (the name I unfortunately forgot, but she will probably recognize us) to support our surprise plan for a dear friend.

The place bounced. Very good, but not great beer selection. Wine through the glass is limited, but many options through the bottle. My rating does not reflect the food. My wife and I are vegan so we didn't eat there. But we knew before we left. I just wanted to drink.

Large beverage selection and quite solid food options (if you get a table that is). It is a contrasting experience when you go on a busy weekend or a regular weekday. I prefer the less crowded times when you can get the waitress or bartender attention more often than once an hour.

Awesome little place in Hartford! The service was fast and friendly and the food was amazing. I got a thanksgiving stuffed sweet potato, which is something I haven't seen anywhere else, and it was delicious. Appetizers and drinks were great too. Most certainly someplace I'll end up at again if I am in the area.
