Blue Plate Kitchen - West Hartford

We came here on 8/19 and our server wasn’t great. When our food came out we were missing items from our meal. No cheese on eggs and no toast and potatoes were cold. We order a craft of mimosa and she only brought out one mimosa. The salt shaker was clogged, asked the server for a new one and she brought out another clogged one. The server seemed overwhelmed and over it. I didn’t complain to the manager because she was already getting complaints. By far the worst experience I’ve had here.

Great concept, great menu, poor execution. 1st time here. Restaurant is dirty with many unbussed tables. Waitstaff poorly trained. Planter next to our table has piles of dirty napkins in it. They don’t serve half half with coffee, only Coffee mate. Very slow service. We won’t be back

Food wasn’t memorable. Great atmosphere and server was very nice, but the meal wasn’t quite what I expected. Hot chocolate was bland/watery. Machine possible malfunctioned? “Fresh” orange juice tasted like tang. Lipstick from a previous guest still on the coffee mug. Ugh, not a good first impression.

I ordered the Art of Holandaise Smoke salmon through a delivery app, and it was simply one of the most delicious meals I have ever eaten in my life, fascinated by the Egg Benedict, this is the best I have ever eaten. I want to try the entire menu. I definitely recommend it.

Food was great as well as the service Sam was our waitress she was excellent.
