Ever since the Kendall has started working in the mornings the smoothies and service have been 20/10. Her attitude and work ethic are amazing. Honestly I use to hate coming here bc it was inconsistent. Thanks Kendall! View all feedback.
What Daniella doesn't like about Tropical Smoothie Cafe:
It was my first time here and I didn’t like the drink I ordered. I calmly went back in and asked if I could exchange it for the drink my cousin had ordered because I liked her drink. I had barely touched my drink and even said I would throw it out. The manager looked me straight in the eyes and said no. I am very surprised that this happened especially since I barely touched it. I definitely won’t be coming back here... View all feedback.
Mainly for me and my guests we do the smoothies here rather than the bowls. But that 's just our preference. The two we gravitate to are the Mango Magic the Chia Banana Boost. Both are pretty good. The dining area was clean as well as the two unisex bathrooms (which is nice ? . There are plenty of seats for multiple people and about 12 single barstool type chairs near the window. Which for an added plus, is that the sun isn 't directly into the window at 3pm right now.Takeaway orders have their own shelves next to the counter. There are two cash registers for quicker in/out. The music overhead is a tad louder than I expected but this is probably because I was here by myself and only the employees ?Vegetarian options: Of course there are vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Not sure how strict allergens are handled here. Doesn 't look like many gluten free options but you can try. I think they have vegan options.Parking: Shouldn 't be a big deal finding parking if you are here during the rush hours like lunch or dinner. Otherwise it 's a challenge to get close to the door because of how the parking lot is designed but YMMVKid-friendliness: ONE single highchair is what I saw. No booster seats. As far as food, they do have sweet options.Wheelchair accessibility: The ramp is not near the door but it is at the handicap parking spot. So maybe make sure before you park. I personally think it needs more handicap spots and ramps.
I tried to walk in at 2:00pm but door was locked. The open sign was on and three girls were in there. I don’t know if they were employees but all they did was just glare at me. All i wanted was to enjoy a tropical smoothie in which i was craving all day, as I am pregnant. But I didn’t even get an answer if they were closed for break or anything. Anyway i’m going to Smoothie King now and will never be enjoying another product from Tropical Smoothie ever AGAIN.
Rude manager, lazy/ignorant staff and the smoothy tasted like something from 7eleven with chunks of kale mixed in.
Food is good, smoothies are good. The straws suck (or rather don't suck). I get being sustainable and using whatever weird straw they have here but what's the point when it doesn't even work or you need 3 straws to get through a smoothie? How can you be a smoothie place and you can't even drink the smoothie until you get home and use a spoon?
