At least for me, finding yeast-style vegan donuts that are truly fluffy, and finding any donuts that are served warm, is a rarity in the vegan-verse. What Alyzibou dislikes about 49th Parallel Cafe Lucky's Doughnuts West 4th:
This place seems to have two vegan food options (banana and lemon bread) and two vegan milks (oat and almond). The quality is alright, but expensive, and the service feels more like a chain restaurant than a cafe. View all feedback.

The vegan donuts here are so humid, I had only ever dry donuts cover in gloopy icing, but these make me want to go back and forth! the coffee is also 10/10, many milk options!
They have vegan and gluten-free doughnuts. it is probably a question of personal taste, but I really didn't like it. they are more like cake with a sugar glaze. I tried the confetti doughnut, and I could taste the sugar and just a sponge soggy as not really baked cake. again it is my taste and I appreciate the fact that they have vegan options

I think they also had some savory breakfast options, but I don't remember if any of them were vegan, as donuts tend to make my eyes glaze over.
The lemon loaf and banana bread are great but they have huge display cases full of doughnuts and those are the only vegan options.
Located in a charming corner of Vancouver, Lucky's Café offers a cozy spot to indulge in coffee and donuts, catering to various dietary preferences. While the café serves an array of vegan and gluten-free donuts, opinions on their textures and flavors vary widely. Their unique yeast-style vegan options draw praise for being fluffy and warm, although selections are limited. Patrons rave about the tangy coffee, complemented by house-made milks. With a vibrant atmosphere and friendly service, it's a lovely place to enjoy a morning treat, whether you're a local or a newcomer exploring the city.

This restaurant is always fabulous. The staff is great and the atmosphere is very cozy and pretty. However, I was disappointed to find out that the parking lot now requires payment. It would be nice if they had a 10-minute parking spot for customers who are just stopping in for a coffee. Other than that, it's a wonderful place with delicious coffee.
This coffee shop is a favorite of mine in the city, especially for their delicious tiramisu Bismark donuts. They have plenty of seating inside and a lovely patio that is open in the summer and winterized when it's rainy. Although they don't have soy milk, they do offer almond and oat milk as alternatives. They also provide liquid cane sugar and honey at the self-serve coffee station. Dogs are not allowed inside, but there is a nice post outside where you can tie up your furry friends. It's a popular local spot, with many dogs hanging out front while their owners grab a quick bite. They have several vegan cake donuts for vegetarians, and offer gluten-free and dairy-free options for those with dietary restrictions. There are a few parking spots available, as well as street parking nearby.
After leaving a crowded breakfast spot where we were surrounded by loud party tables, we stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant. Have you ever visited a coffee shop that felt like a peaceful sanctuary? The atmosphere here was light, airy, and tranquil, with the scent of freshly brewed coffee and pastries filling the air. The Mushroom Miso Danish is a must-try, and the coconut and pistachio croissant is just as delicious for those who prefer donuts. The coffee was also enjoyable, a mix between JJ Bean and Starbucks in my opinion. However, what I truly appreciated was the relaxed and calming energy of the place. It was exactly what I needed to start my day. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
I always call it my lucky day when I’m at Lucky’s. Their doughnuts are very well made. Many different flavors to choose from. I came later in the morning and was able to snag one of the last pistachio doughnuts. The pistachio doughnut from Lucky’s is a representation of the high standards that Lucky’s holds themselves to. From the doughnut itself to the pistachio flavor, it is clear that the doughnut was very well made
Stopped in for a coffee and a donut, had a camomile tea and a cinnamon sugar old fashioned donut. It was amazing! Very cute cafe, can be really busy and the staff is super friendly!Parking: Street parking, both paid and free a little further away if your lucky!

I had forgotten how much I loved donuts, but this restaurant's vegan option was not only healthy, but delicious as well. I tried the triple chocolate donut and it was moist and perfectly sweetened, making it a yummy treat.
The vegan donuts at this place are incredibly moist. I have only ever had dry donuts covered in sticky icing before, but these make me want to return time and time again! The coffee is also top-notch, with a variety of milk options available.
The restaurant offers vegan and gluten-free doughnuts. It may be a matter of personal preference, but I did not enjoy them. They resembled more of a cake with a sugary glaze. I sampled the confetti doughnut and found it to be overly sweet with a soggy, undercooked texture resembling a cake. Despite my own taste preferences, I do appreciate that they offer vegan options.

I wanted to provide feedback on my recent visit to your cafe. I accidentally took someone else's coffee, a decaf cappuccino, thinking it was mine. I apologized to the staff member, offered to pay for it, but they graciously declined. However, when they brought me my correct drink, it was placed on the table a bit roughly, causing some spillage. The staff member didn't apologize or make eye contact. As a paying customer, I understand mistakes happen, but a bit of kindness and acknowledgment would make a big difference. This is my second experience with somewhat rude service at your cafe, and I hope you can address this. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Take out Price per person: CA$1–10
Authentic, hand crafted and genuinely delicious, Lucky’s Doughnuts are made fresh throughout the day using the highest quality natural ingredients. The idea was to keep it simple, and just make doughnuts the old fashioned way, no frozen product, nothing trucked in; just simple, delicious doughnuts and exceptional coffee.
