Contribute FeedbackNestled on the scenic shores of Loch Lomond, the Boat House offers a striking setting and varied dining experiences. While many appreciate the stunning decor and friendly atmosphere, feedback highlights inconsistencies in service and food quality. Some diners enjoyed delicious dishes, particularly fresh pizzas and seafood, while others found the menu limited and prices steep. Despite mixed reviews on service speed, special occasions like birthday celebrations received high praise for attentive planning and execution. Overall, the Boat House appeals to families and casual diners, but might not meet expectations for a fine dining experience.
Too noisy in main restaurant, crammed tables, poor wheelchair access, nice lounge area would have been better to eat there except we had a disabled person with us. Shuttle service from carrick mansionhouse very poor, cobfusing about where its supposed to operate between. One bus had a step for elderly person the next bus didnt, one had umberellas the next one dudnt abd it was raining heavily!!!
The food is wonderful, the staff is friendly, and the location is perfect for a visit.
Love the Boathouse! Great food, cocktails and a lovely chilled atmosphere
Had a great lunch on a wonderful sunny day . Service was very good and the ambience was lovely . Food was lovely. I only wish that they would do breakfast as well.
Everything was great apart from the steak which was bit dry and chewy. However everything else was fantastic, the location the staff are all amazing. I have been before and will put this experience of poor quality food down to a one off. Was a little bit shocked when the bill came was more than expected but not entirely unreasonable as we had more drinks we normally do.
