Excellent take away food, the fritters are the best I've ever tasted, the batter is amazing, lovely crispy, not soggy like all other places. It's a shame they only cook a limited amount, so you have to be early. It's a chip shop, not...a restaurant, so it's hard to rate it on anything other than food which is very good, nice friendly staff too. View all feedback.

think they're good reviews are good, go busy times nice, go out of the busy times bad, cold chips and not nice, I tried this chippy over the years as stsy close, not for the old tonight I don't want why cold under. boiled chips, so white, not bsck View all feedback.
Maxims is my favorite chippy in the local opposite, the chips are quite always on spot.
Always excellent food. Staff friendly except for one person who works there.
Absolutely fantastic chip shop the food is great nice fresh and tasty the staff are very helpful and friendly probably the best chppy in Clydebank I would highly recommend maxims

The chips amazing I am from liverpool but I live in edinburgh and I have not found in the position to find a chippy that has what I call correct chips for 18 years I go to glazgow for a day and it is like in my hometown I have finally found correct chips
