Was namanniy at Corries a mag?
There were four of us who are vegetarians, and the restaurant was able to accommodate all of our requests. We stopped in for a quick brunch and really enjoyed dining at a local place, which enhanced our overall experience in Scotland. View all feedback.
What WilliamN1367 dislikes about Corries:
Visited corries for breakfast, food was ok , but the girl serving, her manor was terrible, very ignorant, was to busy on her mobile, was served the toast and waited over 5 mins longer to receive breakfast , not a person who should be serving... View all feedback.
Corries was a great place to eat, but it closed and has now reopened. It is now called MIVA, the food is excellent, the staff are helpful and attentive without being pushy. I would recommend it.
My partner and I took our dog for a walk in the park and were looking for something to eat. We decided to skip the fish and chip shop and instead got sandwiches, rolls, and drinks to go from Corries. While I waited outside with our dog, my partner went inside and said that the venue, although small, was very pleasant and the staff were all lovely and friendly. The sandwiches were delicious and fresh, served with salad. We had the option to add chips, but we both opted for just the sandwiches as a light snack on the go. The prices were good and there was a wide variety of items on the menu if we decide to sit indoors next time without our dog. My partner mentioned that there were plenty of homemade cake options available, which we are looking forward to trying in the future.
This cozy restaurant is a great place to escape the cold and rain. The menu offers a good selection of dishes, but the service was a bit slow because the staff seemed preoccupied with what was happening in the kitchen.
As for the food, we ordered Macaroni and Lasagna. The macaroni was bland and the lasagna was unappetizing, with overcooked pasta and cheap cheddar cheese covering tinned tomatoes and minced meat. The coleslaw served was also watery. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Corries.
The breakfast at this restaurant was delightful, featuring toast and tea. The staff were very friendly and the prices were surprisingly low, although they should consider increasing them given the excellent value. Overall, this little eating spot is a hidden gem.
