I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant yesterday evening. The food was delicious, and although the staff were a bit reserved, I did not feel like we were inconveniencing them. View all feedback.
What George Kennedy doesn't like about Bistrot Lafayette:
The dining experience at this restaurant was quite expensive considering the portion size and quality. The appetizers were very small for the price, the steak was not very flavorful, and the salad was lacking. View all feedback.

This restaurant is situated in a charming and cozy location on the outskirts of the city. With so much competition in the area, they really need to stand out, or at least be decent. That being said,
Birot lafayette is one of our favorite spots in the old town of alexandria. it is cozy, friendly, and eating is really excellent. we are part of the lamb and the bouillabaisse. the thunfish in a green pfeffer turkey sauce is delicious and the thunfish is served indirectly rarely if not ordered otherwise. mustels are wonderful in a traditional white wine and garlic broth. everything is freshly prepared. we finished this time with a small egg that was dipped with a small chocolate sauce and a small crème brulée type browned sugar sauce.
Fantastic French cuisine. I had a lot of guts and that was among the best.
