Excellent chips, very well cooked, although the part on the small side was for me. Sausage juicer could have been so much better. would recommend!

I actually went myself so can comment on the counter service. Ok, I could see some people being unhappy with being ignored by staff , but 2 of the 3 serving were doing telephone and web orders, leaving one to handle orders, service and payment for actual callers. Anyway, to the food, my Mum had a small fish and chips, my sister had a half smoked sausage and chips, and I had a Scotch pie, a battered sausage, and chips. Everything was good except the Scotch pie which was rather overdone.

I ordered Haddock and chips tonight and while I had to wait 5 minutes, it was definitely worth it. Both the Haddock and chips were cooked to perfection, the best I've ever had. The staff were also very pleasant. I will definitely be returning soon.

The haddock and chips were amazing as always. The new interior looks great with an excellent layout. The staff is always helpful, cheerful, and busy. I asked for extra wrapping because I was waiting for a bus, but I ended up eating most of it before the bus arrived. Thank you to everyone, the food was delicious!
