We stayed for dinner, bed, and breakfast at this restaurant. We had visited about 20 years ago and decided to return while we were in the South West (we live in Yorkshire). The landlord gave us a warm welcome, as he has owned the restaurant for about a year now. The level of customer service was excellent, and both the landlady and landlord were very friendly. The food was delicious, made with local produce. I particularly enjoyed the perfectly cooked sirloin steak. We also enjoyed the Palmers beer from Bridport. Powerstock is a peaceful, small village off the beaten path. I highly recommend a visit and am sure we will return again.
We stayed at this restaurant for 4 nights and dined there twice. It was a fantastic place to stay and eat! The breakfast was excellent, featuring local produce and a variety of choices. Our room had a great view of the valley. The dishes were well-prepared and made to order, and the Dorset Gold beer was especially delicious. The family who runs the restaurant does a great job working together. On our last night, we were treated to a visit from the Morris Dancers and even joined in on the fun!

Martin looked after us in the evening and we especially loved the Italian white wine, although we can't recall the name. We will certainly book another weekend stay before Christmas, if they have availability.
