Having seen what appeared to be a great lunchtime menu we were really looking forward to the lunch. Sadly we were given a menu half the size of that on the website, and much of that was crossed out. The explanation was that they were transitioning over to an autumn menu. In that case UPDATE THE WEBSITE! Clive and Kerry once again provided us with a perfect evening. The food was excellent and the welcome was warm. This pub is a must-visit!
Head over to the White Lion and make sure to order either Clive's short ribs or beef cheeks! The food is expertly cooked and ideal for rainy fall days, especially when paired with a pint of Palmer's Tally Ho. The quality of the food at this establishment continues to impress, making it one of the top dining spots in the area.
I had a wonderful experience at this charming village pub. The food was fabulous, the hosts were lovely, and the atmosphere was fantastic. It was great to see you, Clive and Kerry. I highly recommend trying the Fish and Chips. Overall, I would give this place a perfect rating of 5 for food, service, and atmosphere.
This pub is incredible! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the menu offers a wide variety of options. We had paella last night and delicious ribs tonight. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect score of 5.
We dined at this restaurant today on Sunday...it was absolutely amazing! Vicky is a wonderful chef and Spike is a very welcoming host. All the staff are also very efficient and friendly. We will definitely return soon.
