What Savvytravelssally doesn't like about Mulberry Manor:
Long queues and a short walk from the harbour suggested this bakery was a good spot, but unfortunately the quality of products let them down. Ordered a traditional pasty, at £5 it came with sloppy soggy contents and flaky not shortcrust pastry. The tea was £2 and very weak. Sorry guys, room for improvement or I would suggest a shop around. Thank you so much! I ordered 50 scones in advance for a family party and they were baked for us early that morning. Everyone thought they were delicious and they still tasted fresh the next day.
Pecan pie: perfect level of sweetness (not too much), delicious pecans countering the sweetness. Cheese and Ham savoury pastry: yum. Would like to eat one every day.
I had a delicious cheese and onion pasty, a really great selection of baked goods, sweet and savoury. Seating inside but I had the away, very nice staff.
2 sandwiches, 2 pasties, a flatjack, a cakey brownie and 2 drinks in very happy to return. A nice pit stop for the group before fossil finding. I will return.
