Despite being understaffed, they did a fantastic job with a wide selection of delicious and affordable homemade food - especially the pies, which were definitely worth the wait! We absolutely loved the lively atmosphere of this charming inn in Devon. The staff were delightful, and our only regret is that we didn't have the chance to visit again. Hopefully, we'll be able to come back someday.

I stayed in an apartment across the street from the Devil's Stone Inn, but I bet I spend almost as much time at the pub. Lee, Suzy, and the whole crew at DSI were fabulous! A gracious bunch who makes everyone feel welcome. The atmosphere is friendly, fun, and welcoming. The food and drinks were delicious, and on the one summer day in July, the beer garden was stupendous (jk, spent a few evenings out there). If you go, and I hope you do, have an Otter Amber. YUM! And be sure to ask Lucy for the venison pie!
