My daughter introduced me to this restaurant a few years ago, and I’m so glad she did! They serve amazing sandwiches and soups that change daily. We always bring our guests here when they visit. The staff is incredibly friendly and always greets you with a smile. It has a wonderful homey atmosphere—make sure to enjoy your time!

I recently caught up with a friend in Des Moines, and we decided to check out this charming little restaurant in Valley Junction for lunch. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, making it a great spot to unwind. The ladies who run the place are incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming vibe. The food was fantastic! It’s the perfect place for a delicious sandwich and soup. Everything is freshly prepared, and the soups are made that morning. If you ever have the chance to try the tomato spinach soup, don’t miss it!

I find it hard to believe Isla Villa had the experience she described. I'm not sure when she visited, but I went to this restaurant this week and absolutely loved the food. The "girl with dreads" served me, and she was quite pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I've dined here many times and have consistently enjoyed great food and a warm atmosphere.
