At the border is usually always delicious, but our experience was very different today! We had the pleasure of being served by Jerry! Jerry is the KING of customer service! He was helpful to BEYOND to speak very suggestive and a pleasure! He turned out to make sure that we are completely careful and 100% satisfied with our meal! We go there at 7:10pm and we’re seated quickly (5 tables around us empty). Our waiter, Mitchell, got us drinks right away. Then, it took forever for him to take our order. Didn’t GET the food until 7:50, half was wrong. My wife didn’t get her order until 8:11, which was wrong, again. Had to wait 15 minutes after we ate to get the ticket and. Leah (the bartender) is AMAZING AND PATIENT…. And she make great guacamole live. Drinks, food and service were awesome!!!
I call their food texmex. Chips are good. They have a nice selection of margaritas. Try the empanadas.
Chips are thin what I like, the salsa was great, had some spices on it. We ordered two different types of Fajitas, both were delicious and large quantities. You could taste the meat grilled over a real fire, not a grill top on a burner. Everything and everything impressed, the waiter was a professional.
Very delicious Mexican American cuisine. The red sauce on Chimichanga was particularly good! The prices are not overwhelming, but willing to wait for your food as they seem a little slow. Not sure if they need more workers or not, but most places run without full staff in these days.
We just had the best experience at lunch! Raul is an absolutely amazing server! So attentive, friendly, and had refills out to us before our glasses were even empty. He was happy and had a smile every time we saw him! We go out to eat often and service has just been lacking everywhere we go. Not today! Way to go Raul! We will be back for sure!
