Hurts Donut Co. - West Des Moines

The donuts here are incredibly delicious and made fresh every day. The donut cookie monster shake was really tasty and quite sweet. This is definitely one of the best donut shops I've ever visited!

The staff here is always friendly, welcoming, and quick to fulfill orders. Sometimes, you can even catch a glimpse of the donuts being made through a little window by the counter. I estimate they offer around 30 different varieties, and that might even be on the low side. In addition to glazed and cake donuts, they have cinnamon rolls, long johns, fritters, and so much more. The prices range from $1.50 to $2.50 per donut, but you can save some money if you order 6, 12, or even 18. Our mixed half dozen came to $12.50. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the tables tend to be messy most of the time, and the door, floor, and other areas could use a little more attention during our visits. But that doesn’t take away from the divine taste of the donuts!

The best donuts I've ever had in my life! The variety of options is incredible, and the prices are very reasonable. After taking a bite, I genuinely wanted to cry because it was so delicious. The staff are friendly, and the place is clean as well.

Came here last year. The donuts were amazing. They look amazing and taste amazing. Costs like $5 bucks a donut though. But where else are you going to get donuts this amazing?

This place is (do) nuts. Some of the most off the wall ideas onto fried bread with sugar topping I've ever seen. Even as someone who isn't big on donuts I'd easily wreck a dozen of them from here.
