Being a local vego I really appreciate a healthy, quick lunch that's a reasonable price. It's not that easy to find! I've been to Let them Eat a few times now for lunch, coffee and takeaway snack. I just wish they were open longer!! Located in between other boutique cafes and stores you can really feel the quirky and fun vibes of Queen St. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Let Them Eat:
The lack of transparent pricing and poor service make it extremely difficult to buy their expensive vegetarian food items. This is not a one-time occurrence - it happens frequently. View all feedback.

To be fair, I am not a vegetarian and have always been a little concerned about how enjoyable vegetarian food might be. So I took my skepticism with me when I first went to let them eat after being recommended to it by someone I can safely describe as a serious meat eater, thinking as I entered the place that if he likes it then it must be pretty good. Not surprisingly, I really enjoyed the food. There is a wide variety of dishes to choose from and it's worth taking advantage of the meal options (one small or large item plus a couple of salads) and eating in. Take away limits you somewhat, in the even the small salads are not that small so one salad is normally enough. The main thing is, and take this from a proud carnivore, the food tastes really good. And it's filling. I always (probably very naively) pictured vegetarian food as bland and boring but Let Them Eat has certainly opened my eyes up. I work only a few minutes away and am starting to become something of a regular visitor. For vegetarians, I have little doubt you'll find it enjoyable. For non vegetarians, I recommend trying Let Them Eat because, like me, I expect you to be surprised at the flavours and quality of the food.
As someone who works near the markets, I always make it a point to explore the various shops in the area. One that caught my eye was Let Them Eat.

I unexpectedly found this restaurant during my lunch break at university and I am thrilled that I did.
