Taking groups of people to places that are reasonably priced is a great challenge. This local hotel did just that and at seniors prices. The food was perfectly sized for our lunch requirements and the presentation could not be faulted, The venue was clean and, because we were a group we were placed in an area where we could talk without shouting. The table staff were attentive and polite. My only criticism is the slo... View all feedback.

My husband and I went for lunch today but wont return. My husband had the Challa Sizzler steak ,it was burnt and dry and it looked disgusting and he said it was. I had crumbed prawns 3 of which I ate and the rest I put in a container they gave me to take home for a cat, they were soaked in oil and were disgusting as well, so all I had for my money were 3 prawns saturated in fat, the veg bar was nearly empty with only... It is worth meeting the one star. I had the chefs special crumbed garfish with chips. for two miniscule filets. that is a fish in the round. at the current price for fish, his cannon! my partner had the extremely fat roast lamb....I saw the roast on tge carvery and they seemed to sit in water in a foil bag. the salatable was one of the worst I have ever visited. the alleged bratkartoffeln sat in water and were much too big. there were hardly any other things that were worth eating. I think the kitchen and the management must have a sitting meal and have a really good look at where this place is.
It's always good to have a pub meal and there's a salad bar. Food itself is ok. It's a local pub quality and style. Priced to reflect. No frills. Eat and go.
This was our first, but not last visit for lunch. Meals are ordered at the counter, a salad and hot food bar is provided for self-help. The dining room is fairly large and well lit. The salads are providing reasonable choice, as does the hot...food section. Reasonably priced, this offers a good family lunch. For people who like to play the pokies, the gambling venue is adjoining, but well secluded enough not to be intrusive.
Four of us dined at this hotel for lunch. Food was excellent value, well presented and plenty of it!. A salad and hot veggie bar complemented our meal. The dining area was comfortable and attractive. Upon arriving at this hotel one can be surprised by the...weathered and perhaps neglected outside appearance. However the inside and bistro area are the complete opposite. This is a great local pub serving mostly local people.
The hotel is not the nicest place to visit visually but the food was well presented and very tasty. The meals are suitable for all with a bistro type menu. Affordable prices and friendly staff.
