Taquisa - West Covina

The food was quite good, but there were some mistakes with the orders. I ordered 4 carne asada tacos, but I received al pastor instead. I asked my brother to get carne asada tacos, but he ended up with fish tacos. I would rate the service a 3, but the food itself was enjoyable. My mom was the only one who received the correct order. If you could just sort out your inventory, I’d happily give you a 5-star rating.

I'm quite discerning when it comes to food, and my taste buds are quite demanding. It's not often that I find Mexican restaurants that offer authentic, home-style dishes. Taquisa absolutely hits the mark! They have a fantastic variety, from birria to burritos de cabeza, and just thinking about their food makes me hungry. If you haven't tried it yet, do yourself a huge favor and eat here. The only regret you'll have is not discovering it sooner. You’re welcome!

I loved the pozole here! The meat was very tender and the soup was *Koch Kuss* Great service too: We come back!

I love this place. Best bionicos around! Fruit is fresh. Shrimp burritos are delicious and actually filled with shrimp. Make sure you ask them to put the special sauce inside the burrito and not served on the side. Unless you want it on the side. My family really likes the menudo. We also like to order a tray of birria for family gatherings, when we don't want to cook. I'm sure there are some misses for some people, but so far, I haven't had one and recommend you give it a try. You might like it.

Decent food, 3 stars seems about where it should be. Nothing exceptional stands out but they do most everything well enough. Enchiladas were a bit dry on the inside. Wife ordered caldo de pollo not pictured and the drumstick served as part of that wasn't fully cooked. She may or may not have gotten sick from that, she did not feel well the rest of the day however. I guess don't get the soup in the early mornings, they may not be fully done cooking yet....?
