Great food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. It's now known as the Bossy Cow BBQ.
This is no longer Wanglers Wagon Wheel! It has been rebranded as The Bossy Cow!
Wagon Wheel is no longer in operation; it has been replaced by The Bossy Cow. The food here is fantastic, and they offer gluten-free options! They use Schar brand gluten-free buns and sub rolls. However, it's worth noting that they have a common fryer. I tried the brisket Philly cheese steak on gluten-free buns, and it was excellent! The hamburger and onion rings received rave reviews from my companions, and they certainly looked and smelled delicious. For those with dietary restrictions, there are gluten-free options available, but be aware that they share a fryer for items like French fries and onion rings.
Had Spanish rice undercooked but very wet and microwave, had quesadilla with brisket good but needed some sauce as it was little dry, menu online listed coke to drink it was wrong no coke so they can't make rum n coke but waitress very friendly and nice.
If I could leave zero stars it 'd still be to much.Went for Valentine 's day ny strip dinners ended up with a save-alot sizzler at best I actually thought they brought the wrong food out but judging by the lack of customers I knew the sad fact it was ours .The steak was thinner than a burger patty had zero taste and the texture of a i-75 deer carcass.I paid the 75$ and regretted going to the chum bucket .Sad when Applebee 's serves the best steaks in a town. The waitress was doing her best as she was the only waitress ....ridiculous the waitress literally didn 't even question why we left both our steak on our plates as she cleared the table she didn 't even ask if we wanted boxes because you knew she understood that was a poor excuse of a meal. We did tip her $20 as we knew it wasn 't her fault
**Restaurant Review: A Hidden Gem with Flavor and Hospitality** Nestled in the heart of Michigan, this roadside bar and dining spot has garnered a loyal following thanks to its friendly atmosphere and delicious food. Diners rave about the burgers, particularly the double cheeseburger and black and bleu variant, although some noted that the cooking consistency can affect the flavor. Side offerings like hearty onion rings and sweet potato fries add to the experience. Friendly service from the staff enhances every visit, making guests feel like family. Despite some service slowdowns and odd cooking instructions, the overall vibe and culinary offerings make this establishment worth a visit.

BEST BURGER OF MY LIFE! We stopped here on the way home from up north after finding it on Yelp! We pulled up and were instantly nervous, place is dead. We open the door and are greeted by the owner. Joe tries to order the chicken, the owner recommends he try a burger since it's our first time. We both got burgers. They were so freaking good. Totally worth the journey off the beaten path!
Finally got to stop and check it out. Great service and the food was fresh. I had the turkey sandwich special. REAL turkey!! Everyone was extremely friendly. I will definitely be back here over some of the busier places in town.
Excellent burger and excellent Coney dogs too!! We'll need to come here again!! Onion rings are good too..
Wangler's did an absolutely amazing job putting together a fantastic Lunch with Santa today!!! The kids had a great time coloring while we waited for Santa to arrive... had great food... and the best atmosphere! We got some amazing pictures with Santa who was so patient and kind to both of the kids! The staff and owners thought of so many extras to make the whole experience so festive and special for every child there giving out cupcakes and goodie bags! My husband is active duty Navy and we drove all the way up from Pensacola, Florida and are just so happy that we found this place today!! Thank you for such an amazing time!!!
Was working in West Branch today and always like to try the local stops. Found WWI on yelp and felt like a burger. Pulled up and its your average bar. It's sorta off the main road but worth the hunt to find it. Burger was great and fresh. Not over seasoned and cooked just how I wanted. Waited on by the owner since this time of years slower in WB. Really passionate about what he serves and how his business is perceived by his patrons. Take the time to stop by and get a burger. He said his Prime Rib sandwich is just as good if not better so I'll try that next time im in town.

The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional! We will certainly come back whenever we're in West Branch.
The owner publicly criticized two former employees on Facebook, accusing them of lacking morals and a work ethic simply for choosing to resign. This behavior ultimately contributed to the closure of her business, revealing her true character and making it difficult to support her establishment.
We dined at the restaurant on a Friday evening. Normally, I would have chosen the fish fry since perch was available, but after a friend's enthusiastic recommendation for the burgers, I decided to try the patty melt with onion rings instead. My son ordered a classic cheeseburger and fries. The food was truly delicious; the onion rings were served with a wonderful dipping sauce. For dessert, I had originally planned on having a chocolate brownie, but they were unfortunately out of stock. So, I opted for a slice of chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream (there were many flavors to choose from) and hot fudge, and I was not disappointed. My son tried the chocolate cheesecake, which was also excellent. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, even amidst the restaurant's bustling activity. Plus, I appreciated that there was no loud music, making it easy to enjoy a conversation with the person across from me.
I really like the new ownership at Wagon Wheel. We stopped coming before the change because of the previous owner. The atmosphere is very comfortable now. The food was excellent both times we visited. The menu offers good portions at reasonable prices. The first time, I tried the pollack dinner and ended up taking some home because of the generous serving. The second visit, I had the pulled pork quesadillas, which were the best I've ever had, and again I took leftovers home. The service was friendly and attentive.
I ordered the double cheeseburger, and it was excellent. The burger was fully cooked without being burnt. Although there was only one waitress, she was very friendly and managed four tables and the bar with ease. We arrived an hour before closing and never felt rushed to finish.

We dined at the restaurant on Friday. Though I usually prefer the fish fry, I opted for a patty melt and onion rings since my friend was going for burgers. My son chose a cheeseburger with fries. The food was outstanding! The onion rings came with a fantastic dipping sauce. For dessert, I hoped to order a chocolate sundae, but they had run out, so I settled for a slice of chocolate cake with ice cream (they had a great selection of flavors) and hot fudge. I was thoroughly satisfied. My son had the chocolate cheesecake, which was also delicious. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, despite the busy atmosphere. I appreciated that there was no loud music, which made it easy to converse with the person sitting across from me. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.
The food was exceptional and the service was very attentive! We will definitely come back when we're in West Branch.
The food has always been excellent, but the waitress was friendly while the atmosphere felt a bit cold. The bartender seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming. I’ll consider coming back for dinner again because the chefs do a fantastic job!
