Whether you're relishing a Sunday brunch or savoring an evening meal, the carefully crafted food takes center stage, complemented by a selection of Michigan craft beers. While service can be occasionally stretched thin during peak hours, the friendly staff, including a talented bartender known for exceptional cocktails, adds to the inviting atmosphere. With favorites like the charcuterie board and Scotch eggs, Jamieson’s proves to be a delightful find for food enthusiasts.
The food and drinks were outstanding. I'd like to have a chat with the owner, Joe, about how they put together the menu and perhaps add even more options. The dipping sauce for the Scotch eggs was fantastic. A must-visit for dining out.
Great food. Excellent service by Susan. The affordable prices and generous plates make you want to come back every night. Very recommended for homemade and local foods in the area. Funnel cakeries and Bacon Jam Club are a must!
Great food. Great menu. Overboard spirits and service. The only challenge here is the location. Say this tavern, Clarkston, Fenton or Rochester, they would turn off customers
It was our first time at Jamieson's and we were here for the 5lb Burger Challenge. I was doing the challenge, and my family came along to watch. The staff was really into it and really paid attention to what my wife and son needed. The good really was great, even though I did not complete the challenge. I'll definitely be going back to check out the great beer list and the unique Irish inspired dishes. My wife did have the Scotch Eggs and Irish poutine and said they were great. I was so stuffed that I could only take her word for it. :
A homey feel in spite of the modern decor. Excellent White Cranberry Cosmo was perfect. Beer selection was good. Food was good but not fabulous. I ordered the Goat Cheese Arugala Salad which was large enough to share with my spouse. It was excellent. The cheese was rich and creamy and the arugala was fresh. My spouse had the Chicken Cordon Bleu. It was a bit too well done but the sauce made it moist enough and very tasty. The Asparagus was nicely broiled and the Mashed Potatoes were freshly smashed My German-Italian Stroganoff with Gnocchi and Beef Tips was flavorful but disappointing. A total of only 3 small pieces of beef in the dish. The gnocchi was overwhelmingly dough with no discernable cheese. The sauce, which was very good, made up most of the dish (more like a soup) and needed more sour cream to fill it out. The live music (a gal on guitar singing at perfect volume) was a nice touch. We'll try the place again to test other menu items. I would recommend Jamieson's.
