New to the village, gave it a try. Had fish and chips, thought the chips were good but the fish very poor, both in size and the standard of batter which was poor. Realise this place is more an Indian/mixed take away than a proper chip shop. I’d pop in for a bag of chips but would swerve the fish in future. Will try an Indian dish next time. View all feedback.
We decided to stop at this restaurant while passing through the village. We ordered the small fish and chips, and it was absolutely delicious and a generous portion size. The meal was made fresh to order, so it was piping hot with a crispy batter and flavorful fish. The chips were cooked perfectly. The restaurant was very clean and followed Covid guidelines. I wish I lived closer so I could definitely return in the future.
During a long cycling event, I stumbled upon the Nippy Chippy. Their pie and chips were fantastic and really hit the spot! I'll definitely be back next time.
The food at this restaurant was fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone. The quality, service, and food were all incredible. I really enjoyed it. They have a great variety of kebabs, curries, chips, and fish, all at an affordable price. I would definitely come back again. And for those who are wondering, they also offer halal options.
Fast, decent, good stuff! Really enjoyed my Madras and psshwari naan, extra poppadums as well! Wow! Tasty!
After not eating from the chippy for a while we decided to give it a go again tonight! Can certainly say I'll be returning! The food was delicious and really hot! The customer service was brilliant and the refurb looks great too! Great job team!
