Riverside Brewery - West Bend

I ordered for delivery through Door Dash. The online ordering didn't allow for later delivery. The system said it allows orders up to 2:20 pm. That's what I experienced. Otherwise ordering online was easy.I ordered bar chips, it's house made thick potato chips. I really enjoyed the bar chips, they were good warm or cold.I ordered the spinach salad, it came with sliced mushrooms, carrots, small cherry tomatoes, croutons, diced hard boiled egg, and lots of fresh spinach. Came with grilled, seasoned, sliced chicken. Bacon salad dressing on the side. Huge, fresh, tasty, salad and salad dressing. I don't recall adding chicken to top my salad, it was a nice surprise. I also received a dinner roll and butter, it was in the salad container.I ordered a 12 piece chicken wings tossed in bbq sauce. They were tasty and meaty like the menu and reviews said.March 23, 2024I ordered through Google maps and Door Dash.I had a two piece fish fry, two big pieces of deep fried cod, slice of marbled rye bread, tartar sauce and a small cup of coleslaw. Very good.This time I ordered dessert, the turtle cheesecake, a big slice of cheesecake, drizzled with chocolate syrup and topped with pecans. Very creamy and heavenly yummy.

This is not really a review about the establishment as our beers and mozzarella sticks were decent. This is about the absolute joke of an employee named Johnny. I’ve never felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable in a restaurant before. While we were there I overheard that he used to work at a school district. I suggest he go back there as I felt we were treated like a little kids. I’m not a huge reviewer as I know people can have a bad day but after we went to another establishment and heard similar story’s about him from locals I felt it was necessary to post so other paying customers don’t make the same mistake and visit Johnny.

This place used to be better years ago. The menu changed a lot and food/drinks have completely lost quality.

Delicious food and excellent service! The staff were very accommodating (even took a picture of our group), and the owner stopped by our table to check in with us and make sure we were happy with everything. My husband enjoyed the beer flight, and I found the Root Beer very tasty and refreshing! I had the Tuscan Chicken Panini with Sweet Potato Waffle Fries. I highly recommend!!! The cheese curds were delicious, too! We are already looking forward to coming back when the weather warms up and sitting outside on the back deck by the river.

The menu appeared to have good food options, but the food is bland and lacks even the basic salt and pepper. I also would not consider this establishment to be a brewery when they only have 1 beer that they brew on the menu.
