Kfc - West Bend
Kfc
Description
KFC offers a mix of experiences, with consistently friendly staff creating a welcoming atmosphere despite occasional distractions. The food quality varies: many find it hot and well-prepared, while others encounter tough or reheated chicken and soggy fries. Service speed is generally impressive, especially with online orders, but mistakes like missing items and drink issues occur. Cleanliness is inconsistent, with some areas needing attention. Although management sometimes appears stressed, customer goodwill remains. Overall, KFC still holds appeal for fans, but improvement in food consistency and cleanliness would enhance the dining experience.

I’m not sure why I keep giving Kentucky Fried Chicken another opportunity, but they consistently disappoint me. We arrived at the restaurant around 6:30 p.m. and were told we would have to wait for our food because everything was shut down. Even though they are supposed to be open until 8:00, there were cars behind us in the drive-thru, and all the fryers were off. After waiting, when we finally received our order, the biscuits were doughy in the middle, and the chicken was so overcooked that it was impossible to bite into. If you had to turn the fryers back on, how did you manage to overcook all the chicken while undercooking every biscuit? Does anyone actually own this restaurant or oversee the staff’s performance and operations? I strongly recommend avoiding the Kentucky Fried Chicken in West Bend; I’ve given them too many chances, and they’ve failed every time!
The experience was unpleasant and unsatisfactory. There was a hair in my piece of chicken, and my order was completely incorrect. I didn’t order breast meat, yet I received a lot of it, and it was supposed to be crispy but wasn’t. Additionally, the gravy was missing. I will definitely never return to this restaurant.
Oh my goodness, what a waste of money. Two years ago, we tried KFC and were disappointed by the oily chicken that tasted like it was leftover from the day before, so we chose not to go back. However, today we thought we’d give it another chance, hoping things had improved. Unfortunately, they haven't. The chicken was so tough that it was nearly impossible to bite into, and it tasted stale, as if it had been reheated in a microwave. The fries were greasy, and the food wasn't even warm. What a letdown. KFC used to be a great place for delicious chicken, but that’s not the case anymore. Sorry, but you won't be seeing us again anytime soon.
I haven't visited the West Bend KFC location, but after going to many other KFCs, I keep noticing the same problems. I always check the reviews to avoid wasting my time and money, and I’m glad I did this time because the reviews for this place are really bad. It’s quite disappointing, and they should seriously address these issues. KFC used to be one of my favorite spots, but the lack of quality control is clear, with employees seemingly running things without proper supervision. Maybe they should consider raising wages to attract staff who do more than just greet customers at the door! KFC needs to improve how they manage their business because it’s frustrating to see some locations’ standards, including their menu offerings, decline so much.
I don’t understand how it’s possible to mess up a KFC order. Our drinks arrived without ice, one of the mac and cheese dishes we ordered was missing, and the mashed potatoes that were supposed to be included didn’t come either. To make matters worse, half of the tenders were cold and stale.
