I ordered a hamburger and a ham and bacon grilled sandwich special. Unfortunately, the hamburger was dry and filled with gristle, indicating poor quality beef. I couldn't eat it. The sandwich was burned, and the French fries were cooked in bad oil. Last Friday, I took home a fish fry, but it was overcooked and also tasted of bad oil, so I ended up throwing it out. In the past, your steak sandwich was outstanding, but now it seems like you’re serving a cube steak. Additionally, the waitress asks about the food too soon, before we've even had a chance to take a bite. This makes it difficult to provide feedback and puts the person paying for the meal in an awkward position.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered a patty melt with fries. The patty melt was quite delicious, but the fries were overcooked and excessively crunchy. The service was slow and almost nonexistent, likely due to the staffing levels during the mid-afternoon. Despite this, I would consider giving it another try. The prices were in line with what you would typically find elsewhere.
I can't say enough great things about this place. First of all, The food is absolutely fantastic and the burgers were named top 10 in Wisconsin. Thursday night is Wednesday night and I think they are the best wings I've ever had... And you can't go wrong with 50¢ wings! Reuben rolls..omg yum!! It can get a little crowded in there on certain nights, but the service is always fantastic.
